Visiting Authors
Lynn Plourde, Amy MacDonald and Robert Pottle visited CK Burns School on October 16th. Staff and students shared their enthusiasm by decorating classroom doors and the school in the theme of each author's books. Students were able to hear each author's strategies on how they planned and wrote their books. Amy MacDonald also visited Fairfield School on October 18th. Amy used the book Little Beaver and the echo to model the writing process with the students. The authors were sponsored by each school's PTO.
