One does not have to travel far to find skeptics and pundits of public education. It seems like criticism after criticism is being leveled at public education and public educators.
Of course public education needs to improve. All students must be given the opportunity to reach higher standards. And yes, all students can learn.
Please be assured that the teachers and support staff in Union #7 are working very hard to improve student achievement for all students. It is our most important goal. We recognize the need for continuous improvement throughout our system. We accept this responsibility with enthusiasm.
