Dayton is pleased to announce the hiring of Janice Toomey as the new principal for the Dayton Consolidated School.

Janice has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Orono, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Farmington.

Janice has experience both as an elementary school principal in Searsport, Maine, and as a teaching principal in Stockton Springs, Maine.

Also, Janice has many years of teaching experience spanning the grades from one to six.

Janice and her husband, Jim, will be relocating to this area.  They are parents to two daughters living in southern New England.
